What is a Limited Scope Representation agreement?
In Florida you don’t have to hire an attorney to handle your case from start to finish. You can hire a lawyer for just the parts of the case you need help with. This is called Limited Scope Representation. The Florida Bar requires such an agreement be in writing, so we make very clear what you get for your money (and what you are not hiring us to do). This way you can get quality representation at a more affordable cost.
How does the DIY DUI membership work?
The DIY DUI membership includes access to a complete library of informational videos explaining all steps in the process. It also includes access to our Navigator flow charts to help you understand the process from start to finish.
Additionally, there is one hour of legal coaching included. And you can divide that time up how you like. We recommend a 15 minute set up call, a 15 minute follow up call after you have reviewed the materials, a 15 minute call to prepare you for the DMV and the Arraignment, and a 15 minute wrap up call to prepare you for putting it behind you. But you pick the time you want help with. And if you need more time, you can purchase as much as you need.
Why pay fixed fees for legal services?
Fixed fee agreements are nice for consumers because you know exactly how much you are paying and what you will be getting in return. It removes the uncertainty. You are not paying hourly for legal services when you don’t know how many hours a lawyer is going to bill you. There are no hidden or unpredictable fees.

How are your costs so much cheaper than hiring another attorney?
Attorneys sell two things - their time and knowledge. It takes a lot of time to attend court and counsel clients individually. Our DIY DUI plans remove the time component. So what you are buying is attorney knowledge, which is what you really need. Our DIY DUI plans give you step by step instructions on what you need to do to put yourself in the best position going forward. By harnessing technology we can give clients what they need to know in a highly customized fashion. Our attorneys have been doing this for over 25 years and have handled hundreds of DUI cases, we know your questions before you even ask them, and have laid out the answers for you in our video library, checklists and articles.
Wondering which plan to start with?
If you are unsure which plan to start with we recommend you sign up for the DIY DUI - Get It Over plan. You can always upgrade to another plan later if you think you need or want additional help. That plan includes a free 15 minute strategy session that will help clarify the best path for you.
What makes DUI Goodbye so special?
DUI Goodbye was created by Bruce Denson - a Florida lawyer with over 25 years of experience handling DUI cases. We know the legal system and how to get through it. This service was created to help people manage what can be a difficult time with less stress and lower costs.
How do I get my questions answered about my case?
There are many ways to get your questions answered. We encourage you to first look through our “Everything You Need To Know” video library where you will find thorough answers to the most common questions asked by DUI Defendants. If the answer is not there you have one or two hours of attorney consultation time (depending on your program) to discuss your particular questions with an attorney. You can do this by phone, Zoom, text or email.
How long is this going to take?
On the DIY DUI-Get It Over plan our goal is to have you done with the DMV in 10 days and with the court system in 2 months. With the DIY DUI-Fighter plan our goal is to have you done with the DMV in 2 months and with the court system in 4 months. License restrictions and probation may last longer, but we have strategies to make probation as short as possible with early termination.
